Swamp Hope...Follow the Sunrise

I just watched an interview that I pray fills you with Hope, as it did me… We all learned of a little girl, Nadia, lost in a Florida swamp this past week. She had been there for approximately four days. James King, a member of the church that Nadia belonged to, joined a search party for her on Monday- and they were not able to find her. That night, James went home and his wife reminded him, that when we lose something and we pray in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18), we always find it. So- get this, as soon as the sun came up…James shared, the Lord led me directly to her. The Lord said follow where the sunrise is…so I went East- as best as I could in a swamp. James kept asking the Lord which way to go- and the Lord told him (Isaiah 30:21). And there she was- sitting on a log. James shared that she had been praying. He had walked two hours into the swamp and realized…that he couldn’t go out the same way he went in. ISN”T THAT THE TRUTH! When you have an encounter with God- you are forever changed!!!! Friends- I listened to that and so many truths sparkled into my heart. Tears flooded- thankful tears- of this reminder – that God is still on the throne- there is power in praying in the Spirit!!! And if we ALL follow where the Son rises- He will lead us! Praise God- be prepared like James! He had his Bible, a blackberry with a GPS,water, nutrition drink, toilet paper & trail mix…because he knew- he had faith that God was going to lead him to to Nadia! Be prepared with the Word- as a born again believer- you are equipped- don’t forget that. We have an internal GPS built right in with our sweet Holy Spirit that is living inside us!!! Praise Him this morning- no matter what swamp you are in…no matter who needs to be rescued- He is alive and available!!!!!!!! Love you all!!!!!
